Rebates
For 2012, in addition to the 30%
Federal Investment Tax Credit on new renewable energy systems, Colorado Springs
Utilities is offering $1.80/watt rebate on grid-tied PV systems. As the price
of solar PV modules continues to fall (350% since 2006) these two incentives can
add up to over 60% of the cost of a grid-tied system.
